CF - Cyclers

In recognition of its superior facilities and outstanding location, the City of Carson was chosen as the site of the first international racing event of the World Cycling League (WCL), a new organization presenting indoor competitive cycling.   The first event was held March 18-19, with 42 riders from 11 countries competing at the VELO Sports Center, the velodrome located on the grounds of the StubHub Center.   The USA National conference will be based at the VELO Sports Center on an ongoing basis.  The VELO Sports Center is the only indoor velodrome in the United States, and Carson will be an international destination for the sport, attracting competitive cyclists, Olympic hopefuls, and fans from around the world.
